South Food Plus
- South food plus is a family business. Its owner, engineer Hugo Solar, has a vast experience of thirty years in the aluminum cap industry for bottled oils, liqueurs, tinplate cans and canned foods, having traveled extensively within the Latin American, European and U.S. markets.
With South Food Plus he created a sales representative network in important ports of Chile (Valparaiso and Puerto Montt), United States (Miami) and Germany (Bremen).
- Both the Chilean companies which export their products through South Food Plus and the companies which are interested into be represented on this page, are personally selected by Hugo Solar.
This process ensures the selection of high quality products. Products that have been carefully elaborated, keeping their particular taste from the Chilean southern lands and with a fine and elegant presentation.

MISSION & VISION
The vision of our company is to favor business and cross-cultural interchange between Chile and Germany and between Chile and the Unites States. We would like to introduce fine selected products, typical of Chilean lands, which at the same time represent the environmentally friendly process that Chile and the world is presently experiencing. The aim of SOUTH FOOD PLUS is to reach the second phase in the course of an enterprise's existence, send overseas a representative feature, alongside top quality food products and selected cosmetics, from the Chilean representative Art which includes ceramic, works of art, sculptures and craftwork.
Our objective is to achieve an elevated client satisfaction level and a solid and long-lasting bond. We see globalization as a positive instrument and it is our belief that it must not only cover business aspects but also, by means of culture, bring people together by improving the quality of their lives.
